According to the information, UltraTech Cement Ravana, Shree Cement Limited and Nuvoco Vistas Corporation Company have violated the Mine Development and Production Agreement (MDPA). According to the Department of Minerals, 157.122 hectares of land was given to Ultratech Cement Ravana in Guma-1 for the mine. On this, a notice was issued on April 10 for the recovery of Rs 24 crore 10 lakh 56 thousand 97. Which the company challenged in the High Court. After getting the order from the High Court, the district administration has issued the recovery order.
Similarly, Shree Cement Limited was given approval for 225.719 hectares for the mine at Karhi Chandi Khapradih. The order for recovery of Rs 3 crore 41 lakh 23 thousand 250 was issued today. Nuvoco Vistas Corporation was given 294.160 hectares for the mine. As per clause 4.3.2 of MDPA, notice has been issued to the company to deposit Rs.
Let us tell you that the collector has issued a notice for the imposition and recovery of huge fines on three cement companies of the district.
