Under this, the Gwalior Crime Branch Police has raided a businessman’s godown in Harishankar Puram of Jhansi Road police station area. During the operation, a large quantity of spurious ghee packing material and illegally stored expensive liquor from other states have also been seized. At the same time, the police arrested an accused from the spot.

In fact, the Crime Branch team had received information from the informer that the work of making spurious ghee and English liquor is done at Harishankar Puram, located at Thana Jhansi Road. Based on this information, the police team raided. During this, Food Department and Jhansi Road Police Station were also present on the spot. The Food Department team took samples of spurious ghee. The same Jhansi Road police station took action under the Excise Act in the case of illegal liquor. According to the police, this godown was operated in the house of businessman Sanjeev Aggarwal.
