Adipurush World Wide BO Collection: After huge controversies regarding ‘Adipurush’, now the downfall of the film has started and the film has started flopping at the box office. After a great start, now negative response has started pouring in for the film. Made in a budget of 500 crores, ‘Adipurush’ has been released for 8 days and the film has not been able to even touch its budget till now.
The worldwide collection of Kriti-Prabhas starrer film ‘Adipurush’ based on Ramayana on the 8th day of its release stood at Rs 3.25 crore. The surprising thing is that this is the lowest one-day earning of a film that ran for eight days in theatres. According to the tracking website, the Hindi screening of ‘Adipurush’ has earned only Rs 125 crores.
Third film to touch 200 crore mark
The net domestic collection of ‘Adipurush’ has gone up to Rs 263.15 crore. According to Bollywood Hungama, after ‘The Kerala Story’ and ‘Pathan’, ‘Adipurush’ is the third film to cross the 200 crore mark this year. Let us tell you that before this, Kerala Story remains at number two with 241.95 crores and Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pathan at number one with Rs 543.05 crores.
T-series claimed this much earning
According to trade analyst Manobala Vijaybalan, the net worldwide collection of ‘Adipurush’ so far is Rs 378.01 crore, while the film’s production house T-Series claims that the film had earned Rs 410 crore on its 7th day itself.
Screening of the film is banned in Nepal.
However, whether the film crosses its budget or not, it remains to be seen. But seeing the way the controversy has been created regarding the film, it seems that the film will not be able to earn much after crossing the budget. Significantly, a controversy had started regarding the dialogues and looks of the characters in Adipurush, due to which the film was also banned in Nepal.
