Ajaz Khan On His Jail Days: Actor Ejaz Khan was recently released from Arthur Road Jail after two years of imprisonment in a drug case. In the year 2021, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) arrested Ejaz Khan in a drug case. After Ejaz’s arrest, he had claimed that he only had some sleeping pills. Ejaz got bail recently after being in jail for two years.

Talking to Times of India, Ejaz said, ‘A day inside the jail seems like a year. I don’t want to say anything about the person who made a case against me and the world is watching what is happening to him, I wish him all the best. I was declared guilty even before the verdict was pronounced. I finally got bail from the Supreme Court, but I was in jail for 26 months and I missed work and my son’s growing up.
Ejaz Khan went into depression in jail
Ejaz described Arthur Road Jail as the world’s most overcrowded jail with 3500 inmates against the capacity of 800 people. He said “400 people go to one toilet. Imagine the situation in that toilet! I went through tension and depression. It was difficult but I had to survive for my family, which includes my 85 year old father, wife and son.
Ejaz Khan met many celebrities in jail
Ejaz further said that I met many people inside the jail including former state Home Minister Anil Deshmukh, Sanjay Raut, Armaan Kohli, Aryan Khan and Raj Kundra. You wouldn’t want your enemy to go through this too. I initially refused to meet my son because I didn’t want him to see me in prison, but I finally met him after six months because I wanted him to share my story with me and be strong for the world. He said that he has written a book on his experience which he wants to turn into a web series.

Eijaz Khan appeared in Bigg Boss 7. He started his career in Bollywood with the 2003 film ‘Path’ and also worked in Ekta Kapoor’s TV show ‘Kya Hoga Nimmo Ka’ (2007).
