Alert of Election Commission in border districts in MP: Instructions to set up check posts on these 35 districts bordering five states, report will have to be given to the commission every week

Rakesh Chaturvedi, Bhopal. State’s Chief Electoral Officer Anupam Rajan on Wednesday held a meeting in the Nirvachan Sadan regarding law and order and security in Vidhansabha Election-2023, in which police and excise department officials participated.

Chief Electoral Officer Rajan has instructed the officials to make check posts on the main roads of 35 districts of Madhya Pradesh bordering Gujarat, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Chhattisgarh and take effective action and send weekly reports for the prevention of activities including anti-social elements, illegal liquor, illegal money, illegal weapons, hawala money, drugs, illegal drugs, illegal vehicles and other activities.

Officers will be transferred on a large scale in the election year in MP: Collector, SP, ASP, SDM, Tehsildar, Naib Tehsildar and TI will also be changed

These districts of the state are adjacent to the border of five states

In this Balaghat, Mandla, Shahdol, Anuppur, Dindori, Sidhi, Singrauli, Jhabua, Alirajpur, Agar-Malwa, Ratlam, Mandsaur, Neemuch, Shivpuri, Guna, Rajgarh, Morena, Sheopur, Betul, Khargone, Khandwa, Barwani, Burhanpur, Chhindwara, Seoni, Bhind, Datia, Ashoknagar, Tikamgarh, Chhatarpur, Sagar, Rewa, Satna, Panna and Niwari districts are included.
