Satyapal Rajput, Raipur. State President of Ajit Jogi Yuva Morcha, Pradeep Sahu has accused a scam in para medical education in a press conference. He said that some people in the state are playing with the future of the students by making education a business. Paramedical institutions are being operated illegally in Chhattisgarh without informing the government and without taking permission. By conducting courses like Lab Attendant, OT Technician, Dresser, X-Ray Technician etc. by paramedical institutes, the students are misled and given admission by charging a hefty amount of Rs.60-65 thousand as fees. There is talk of providing government jobs and benefits to girl students even for registration.
Pradeep Sahu told that some coaching institutes and some colleges are running it. They don’t have any permission. Certificates of other states are given by them. Studies are conducted in our state and exams are taken from students in other states. The courses of other states are being conducted without the permission of the government, while the rule is that if any college conducts the courses of other states in that state, then it should get permission from the concerned department of the state government of that state. Happens, which has not been taken by them.
Pradeep Sahu told that not even a single examination has been conducted by these institutes in the last 3-5 years. Being fed up in such circumstances, students leave their studies incomplete or even commit suicide. Such institutes, which have not conducted the examination for the last several years, should return double the amount of fees to the students.
Pradeep Sahu alleged that these institutions are being run across the state for many years. Parents’ hard earned money is being looted from the students and this institution is being run somewhere under the patronage of the government and the department, which is not tolerable. Jogi Congress exposes this and demands a high level inquiry. By closing the course of paramedical being run in the same building and going to the court under section 420, 467, 468, 471 and 120, the directors of the institution will be sent to jail by registering an FRR. Raja Raj Banjare, Naved Qureshi, Avinash Sahu, Tarun Soni, Raj Nayak etc were included in the press conference.
