Raipur. School of Literature and Language, Pandit Ravi Shankar Shukla Vishwavidyalaya Raipur organized an alumni meet at Kala Bhavan, Seminar Hall. In the program, the ex-students were welcomed by providing tilak, sandalwood and flowers. Senior alumni of the department shared their experiences in the programme.
The chairman of the program, Alumni of the department, Prof. Keshari Lal Verma, former Vice-Chancellor Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University Raipur and currently Vice-Chancellor Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj University, Maharashtra and other guests inaugurated the program by lighting the lamp in front of Maa Vageshwari. In the program Prof. Expressing happiness, Keshari Lal Verma said that the department is a family. This is an opportunity to evoke memory. He recalled the achievements of the department and the tradition of guidance. Appreciated the alumni working on the language in the state and country.
He said, all languages provide opportunities. It is necessary to convert opportunities into achievements. Linguist Prof. Chittaranjan Kar threw light on the intricacies of the language and threw light on the plan of writing standard Hindi grammar in future. He termed linguistics as a sect. Dr. Rajesh Dubey Principal, Sh. Bhathagaon College, Raipur recalled the memories of its student life. Even today, he solves subject-related difficulties by asking his teachers. He announced a grant of Rs 25,000 for a two-day seminar and alumni meet to be held in future.
Dr. Savita Singh Sh. Science College, Raipur told that she was inspired by the hard work of the professors of the department. He said that a person should leave his footprints, so that the coming generations remember his works. Dr. Sudhir Sharma, Kalyan Maha. Bhilai gave the credit of building his personality to his teachers. He told that every person became a scholar by joining this department. The one who stays connected to his roots will move ahead.
Recalling the memories of the past, Dr. Praveen Sharma congratulated for the successful event. Dr. Jaipal Singh Prajapati (Associate Professor) Pt. Sundarlal Sharma University Bilaspur expressed gratitude towards his professors remembering the incomparable contribution of the department. He said that life is difficult, success and failure keep on coming. If you keep holding the feet of the gurus, you will not drown.
Shashi Khutia, Deputy Registrar, Anjaneya Viviraipur tickled everyone with his experiences and gave many suggestions for the benefit of the students in future. Pro.
