Ambati Rayudu says that close friends of Shivlal Yadav became part of the selection committee in the year 2004. At that time I had performed brilliantly for India-A, but despite this I did not get opportunities. After that the situation kept getting worse and worse, for almost 4 years I was in the dark. Ambati Rayudu left Hyderabad in the year 2005, then he started playing for Andhra Pradesh. Also Ambati Rayudu said that at that time MSK Prasad was leading the Andhra Pradesh Cricket Association, but I did not face any problem during his tenure.
