Amjad Khan Son Shadaab Khan Debut In Bollywood With Rani Mukherjee But His Career Is Flop

Shadaab Khan Career: The Hindi film industry is infamous for nepotism. Here star kids often grab headlines even before their debut, while outsiders have to struggle for years to gain recognition. Although there are many such star kids in the film industry who have failed to leave their mark.

One of them is Shadab Khan, son of late actor Amjad Khan. His father was a big Bollywood star and one of the highest paid supporting actors of his time. Although his children could not get name and fame like him. Amjad Khan’s son Shadab was able to play the lead role in only one film in his short career.

Shadab’s career in the film world was a flop
Shadab Khan made a grand debut in 1997 with ‘Raja Ki Aayegi Baaraat’ opposite Rani Mukherjee. Although Rani Mukherjee was noticed in the film and soon she also joined the list of top actresses of Beetown, but Shadab Khan did not get any help in his career from his first film. In his second film Betaabi in 1997, he played a supporting role alongside Chandrachud Singh and Arshad Warsi. Shadab did not go unnoticed in this film as well.

Saddened by the failure, Shadab left acting
He had to wait for four years for his next role, which was in Hey Ram, directed by Kamal Haasan. Once again, it was a small role and that too did nothing for Shadab’s career. He then appeared in a cameo in Abhishek Bachchan and Kareena Kapoor’s debut film Refugee. After a setback in his career, Shadab decided to quit acting and instead started writing. He released the biography of his father Amjad Khan which was launched by Amitabh Bachchan.

Shadab also got some success from two other novels named ‘Shanti Memorial’ and ‘Murder’. He has also written the scripts of some films. After a long time, he made a comeback in acting with John Abraham starrer Romeo Akbar Walter in 2019. He was also seen in the 2020 web series ‘Scam 1992’.
