Arshad WarsiBig Boss Season 1 was hosted by actor Arshad Warsi. However, after that he did not get a chance to host this reality show. At the same time, he was seen in the first part of Jolly LLB, but in the second part he was replaced by Akshay Kumar. Arshad has talked about being replaced by the reality show and this film. Along with this, he also told that he did not enjoy working in the 2004 film Hulchul.
In a conversation with Amar Ujala, Arshad answered the question of not doing Bigg Boss and not playing the lead role in Jolly LLB 2. Both the projects were hits, but Arshad did not return in both. Arshad was replaced by Salman Khan in Bigg Boss, while Akshay replaced him in Jolly LLB 2.
Why was Arshad replaced from Bigg Boss and Jolly LLB 2?
Talking about this, Arshad said- “Now Jolly LLB 3 is being made, in which both Akshay and I are in the lead. That was the original plan – I would do the first part and he would do the second. As far as Bigg Boss is concerned, I could not do the next season because I had to go to London for the shoot. Although I think Salman is the best host for the show. No one can host like Salman. Reality shows need a domineering host like Salman.
Arshad was not happy working in this film
Arshad told that he was not happy with the commotion. The film had stars like Akshaye Khanna, Kareena Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Paresh Rawal, Arbaaz Khan, Sunil Shetty and was directed by Priyadarshan. Regarding this film, he said- To tell the truth, I did not like working in Hustle. Acting is my profession and I had to do it. But personally I was not happy with the film. I just did my work and left. Sometimes some things in life are not good.
