Raipur. Chhattisgarh Pradesh BJP today organized yoga practice program in the entire state on International Yoga Day. BJP leaders, workers performed Yoga in public along with dignitaries and general public. On this occasion, State BJP in-charge Om Mathur said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given global glory to Yoga. On his initiative, World Yoga Day is being celebrated all over the world. Modi has taken an unprecedented step towards world welfare by placing the heritage of Indian mystics in front of the world community. India will become world guru, this is a meaningful beginning in this direction. Today the whole world is looking towards India.
State BJP President Arun Saw said that focus on development along with yoga is the mantra for India’s upliftment. Impressed by the doors of development that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has opened by making the world aware of India’s spiritual consciousness, today the world is considering India as a guru. India’s prestige has increased in the world. It is a matter of self-respect of 140 crore Indians and the people of India settled all over the world.
Former Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh said that Yoga is our global identity. In Chhattisgarh, the BJP government formed a Yoga Commission, enriched it and created public interest in Yoga. Our Prime Minister Narendra Modi told the world the importance of Yoga and recognized Yoga Day in the United Nations. The Indian yoga ritual has become a global ritual today. State in-charge Om Mathur, State President Arun Sau, District President Jayanti Patel, BJP leaders Sanjay Srivastava, Kedar Gupta, Srichand Sundarani participated in the Yoga program organized on World Yoga Day at Gujarati School Auditorium, Devendra Nagar.
BJP National Vice President and former Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh practiced yoga at his residence in Maulshri Vihar. BJP regional organization general secretary Ajay Jamwal, organization general secretary Pawan Sai, state minister Kishore Mahanand, senior BJP leader Sachchidanand Upasane participated in the yoga program at Balaji Vidya Mandir.
BJP state co-incharge Nitin Nabin, Bilaspur division in-charge Kiran Dev, former minister Amar Aggarwal, MLA Rajneesh Singh, BJP state spokesperson Anurag Singhdev participated in the yoga camp organized in Beltara district Bilaspur and practiced yoga. Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly Leader of Opposition Narayan Chandel and Janjgir Lok Sabha MP Guharam Ajgale participated in the yoga camp organized at Saraswati Shishu Mandir in Champa.
MLA and BJP chief spokesperson Ajay Chandrakar participated in the yoga practice camp organized at Kurud on the occasion of Yoga Day. All senior workers including state vice president Bhupendra Savanni were present along with former assembly speaker Dharam Lal Kaushik while doing yoga at Mudipar toll plaza in Bilha assembly constituency. Rajya Sabha MP Saroj Pandey attended the yoga camp organized at Women’s Welfare College, Bhilai.
