All the five accused of Central GST are on CBI remand for 7 days. The CBI will present the accused in the special court after 2 pm today.

On June 14, the court remanded the CBI for 7 days. The accused include Kapil Kamble Superintendent, Somen Goswami Superintendent, Pradeep Hazari Inspector, Virendra Jain Inspector, Vikas Gupta Inspector. The accused had demanded one crore rupees to open a sealed gutkha factory in Damoh. The bribe deal was fixed for Rs 35 lakh. He was arrested red-handed by the CBI while taking Rs 7 lakh. The victim businessman Trilok Chandra Sen had opened the factory in the year 2021.
