Manoj Yadav, Korba. A case of dacoity has come to light in Korba district of Chhattisgarh. Masked dacoits raided a house in the residential area of the city and committed robbery by taking the people of the house hostage at the point of knife and dagger. It is being told that four masked miscreants have carried out this incident. The dacoits took away lakhs of rupees from the house. After the information of this incident, there has been a stir in the police department. The police is probing the matter and scanning the CCTV footage installed nearby. This matter belongs to the Civil Line Police Station area.
According to the information, Rajkumar Nirmalkar’s family resides in MP Nagar under Civil Line Police Station area. Husband wife and children and mother live together. Rajkumar had gone to Madhya Pradesh to participate in the Dashagatra program with his wife. 16-year-old daughter and mother were staying in the house. That’s why at around 8:00 pm, 4 masked youths arrived and tied the hands of both of them with tape at the tip of a knife and a knife. Then the dacoits took the minor inside at knife point and asked him to withdraw lakhs of rupees kept in the cupboard, after which everyone ran away with the money. Somehow the old woman and the minor girl opened each other’s tape and started shouting. Hearing which the people around reached and the information was given to the police.
Here Rajkumar was informed about the incident on the phone, where he reached home late at night. As soon as the information about the robbery was received, there was a stir in the police station. Special team of cyber cell and civil line police have gathered. The CCTV footage installed around the spot is being scrutinized and people are also being questioned.
Civil line police station in-charge Nitin Upadhyay said that taking the matter seriously, the police has started investigating. At present, the information about how much money the dacoits have taken away is not clear. Investigation is on in the matter.
