Bilaspur. An inmate of the Central Jail in Chhattisgarh’s Nyadhani has died during treatment. The jail management is under question regarding the death of the prisoner. In this case, the relatives of the prisoner have made serious allegations against the police. They say that he died under suspicious circumstances. The youth died at 12 o’clock in the night, but the policemen informed the relatives about the incident in the afternoon. In this incident, the relatives have demanded a fair investigation. This matter belongs to the Civil Line Police Station area.
According to the information, undertrial prisoner Sahir Khan Talapara resident died during treatment in the Central Jail of Bilaspur. It is being told that the prisoner’s health suddenly deteriorated, after which he was admitted to Sims late at night. But he died during treatment. In this case, the relatives of the deceased have made serious allegations against the jail management. He said that we had gone to meet him on Monday but were not allowed to meet him. Whereas earlier we were allowed to meet.
Relatives accused the jail management
The relatives of the deceased told that this afternoon the constable of the Civil Line police station came to the house and informed that Sahir had died. Sims’s mercury came to know that Sahir was brought to Sims from jail at 9 pm. He died during treatment around 12 o’clock. The relatives got information about this incident at 1.10 pm. They say that from the information received, we are finding the matter suspicious. Red marks have been seen on the back and legs of the deceased. There is a suspicion of assault with him. In this case, the relatives are demanding a fair investigation.
Please tell that for the last 2 years, the deceased Sahir Khan was lodged in the jail in the NDPS case. In this case, the post-mortem of the dead body of the deceased was done in the presence of the magistrate along with videography. Police is investigating in the matter.
