Raipur. Adani Foundation conducts Jawahar Navodaya coaching in Tilda development block of the district. From where seven children have been selected for the education session 2022-23 in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Mana Raipur. Jyoti Verma, Akanksha Sonwani, Jigyasa Verma, Deepika Sen, Tanya Sahu, Garima Verma and Harsh Pal of Raikheda were selected in the results of the Navodaya entrance examination declared on Wednesday, June 21.
Under the social concerns of Adani Power Limited, Raipur, Adani Foundation, Navodaya Coaching Centers were being operated in 4 nearby villages for the last decade. Which has been extended to a total of 12 villages including Raikheda, Gaitara, Khapri, Chicholi, Tarashiv, Gaurkheda, Konari, Chhataud, Khamhariya, Bhatapara, Sontara, and Mura two years back. In which more than 100 needy and promising children of the project affected area are prepared for the examination for admission in Kendriya Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya.
On the other hand, the sarpanch of the village is also proud of the success of the children, where there is no place for the parents of the children to be happy. Her parents are very happy with the success of Jyoti Verma of Raikheda and getting selected in Navodaya Vidyalaya. Jyoti’s father Dwij Verma told that, his financial condition is very weak, in this situation, he could not even dream of teaching his daughter in a good school. But it was possible through the coaching of Adani Foundation. For this they are very grateful.
Sarpanchs of all gram panchayats have expressed happiness and congratulated Adani Foundation, teachers and parents of the children. Manish Verma, Sarpanch of Gram Panchayat Tarashiv, congratulated the parents of the selected children and expressed gratitude to the team of the Foundation, saying, “Development is possible only through education and Adani Power is fulfilling its responsibilities very well. The work being done by Adani Foundation in the field of education is commendable.
Sarpanch of Gram Panchayat Mura Mrs. Nutan Bai said that, Adani Foundation is conducting coaching classes in Mura village and their future will be secure if the children are selected in Navodaya. Santosh Kurre, sarpanch representative of village Raikheda, while appreciating the education programs of Adani Foundation, said that till now 14 children from his village have been selected through entrance examination in Navodaya Vidyalaya and they are getting quality education. Also, their parents do not have to spend financially. The credit for this goes to Adani Foundation.
Adani Foundation’s CSR Head told that, 40 children are getting quality education free of cost in Jawahar Navodaya so far from Navodaya Coaching. Adani Power Limited runs several programs for health, education and self-employment in its project-affected villages. On the other hand, Tilda Block Education Officer, Banwarilal Dewangan and officials of his department also expressed their gratitude for the cooperation of Navodaya coaching and school teachers.
