Raipur. Southwest monsoon can knock in Chhattisgarh. There is a possibility of heavy rain with thunder in many parts of the state. The Meteorological Department has issued Red, Yellow and Orange alerts for 72 hours. At the same time, along with the administration, people have been appealed to be cautious. At the same time, people have been asked not to take support of trees to avoid rain.
According to the Meteorological Department, in the next 72 hours there is a high possibility of thunder and lightning at some places in Raigarh, Korba and Janjgir along with all the districts of Surguja division. In view of this, Orange Alert has been issued. Similarly, a yellow alert has been issued in view of the possibility of thunder and lightning at one or two places in Bilaspur, Mungeli district and all the districts of Raipur and Durg divisions.
Alert issued for 24 hours
In the next 24 hours, there may be heavy rain with thunder and lightning at one or two places in Bastar, Dantewada, Sukma and Bijapur in the southern part of the state.
Alert issued for 48 hours
There is a possibility of heavy rain with thunder and lightning at one or two places in Bilaspur, Raigarh, Korba, Gariaband, Dhamtari, Kondagaon, Kanker and Narayanpur in 48 hours.
