Ramkumar Yadav, Surguja. Ambikapur’s student has brought laurels to Surguja district and Chhattisgarh by winning two gold medals in the International Jeet Kune Do competition held in metropolitan Mumbai. The girl student, who reached Ambikapur after hoisting the flag of victory in Mumbai, was warmly welcomed by the local people at the railway station. After winning at the international level, the student has started preparing for the World Champion Ship.
In fact, Sakshi Sahu, who lives in Manipur region of Ambikapur, is a class 9th student of Holy Cross School. She participated in the International Jeet Kune Do Championship held at Mumbai on June 17 and 18 and won two gold medals in the Under 16 age group by defeating players from Mumbai and Delhi.

Sakshi is now eyeing the World Championship. Sakshi’s parents also supported Sakshi a lot and are talking about supporting her even further. Sakshi’s parents said, the name of Chhattisgarh along with Ambikapur has been brought to glory by Sakshi winning the gold medal at the international level.
