Hakimuddin Nasir, Mahasamund. The Government of India has patented Chhattisgarh’s famous paddy variety Nagri Dubraj this year. Describing it as a matter of pride for Chhattisgarh, Mahasamund MP Chunnilal Sahu has appealed to the farmers of the state to plant more and more Dubraj paddy in the fields.
The video of Chunnilal Sahu, MP from Mahasamund Lok Sabha seat, mowing with the help of oxen and sprinkling paddy seeds in his fields is going viral on social media. Along with this, another video is also going viral, in which he is telling that our ancestral occupation is farming.
He also told that this year the Government of India has patented Chhattisgarh’s famous paddy variety city Dubraj, which is a matter of pride. Along with this, the MP has appealed to the farmers of Chhattisgarh to increase the respect of Chhattisgarh by planting more and more Dubraj paddy.
