Child marriage stopped in mass conference, 19 year old groom turned out

Karn Mishra, Gwalior. In Madhya Pradesh’s Gwalior district, a child marriage was stopped from taking place in a mass marriage conference on the complaint made on Child Line. The team of CWC and Women and Child Development stopped the marriage after reaching the spot. In the examination of the documents, the groom was found to be a minor of 19 years, while the CWC has also expressed doubt on the age of the bride. Action is being taken against the organizer of the conference on the report of the Child Welfare Committee.

In the same documents, the groom has been found to be a minor of 19 years. In such a situation, while stopping the marriage, preparations are being made to take action against the culprits.
