How did you get the role in CID?

Please tell that Vivek had left acting in 2012. He also talked about how he got CID. He said, ‘I have been trained inside Kishore Namit. Then my mother told me that the makers are looking for actors for the officer role in CID. I auditioned and got selected. My maternal grandparents were fans of the show. My maternal grandfather had died even before my casting was announced in the show. I was very emotional.

Vivek told that his original contract was only for 3 months. But the creators of the show kept increasing it and they worked for 6 years. And one day he decided to quit acting. Then he went to the Himalayas. After coming back, he decided to ‘upgrade’ himself and completed his higher education from Singapore. He did his Masters in International Business. He also became a wedding planner in cousin sister’s wedding. He had also seen his father’s business.
