Congress protests by wearing black clothes on Gandhi statue in Bhopal, candle march taken out in Jabalpur NSUI protests in DAVV campus in Indore

The Congress is protesting against the Manipur violence in a Gandhian way. Under the leadership of MLA Arif Masood, Congress workers protested against the violence by wearing black clothes near the Gandhi statue in Minto Hall located in the capital Bhopal. At the same time, a candle march was also taken out in Jabalpur against the violence in Manipur.

Protests are being held across the country regarding the incident of violence in Manipur. Meanwhile, in the capital Bhopal, under the leadership of MLA Arif Masood, Congress workers sat on a dharna wearing black clothes near the Gandhi statue. Several party leaders and women Congress workers also joined the protest in Congress.

A candle march was taken out in Jabalpur against the violence in Manipur. Along with this, hundreds of people gathered under the banner of Sarv Christian Mahasabha. People protested against the violence in Manipur by taking out a candle procession. Along with this, the accused of violence were demanded to be punished severely. A huge gathering was held at Malviya Chowk in the city. Where people said that, demanded to take strict steps so that such incidents do not recur.

Ever since the video of the violence taking place in Manipur and 2 women being paraded naked among the people went viral, the entire country has been protesting against the incident. NSUI also raised slogans by protesting at DAVV campus today. NSUI’s Indore district president Rajat Patel said that the Modi government sitting at the center issues its statements regarding small things. But nothing was said about Manipur violence which is burning in the fire. He further said, this incident brings shame to the country. In which 2 women were paraded naked. The video of this incident is also going viral, but the Modi government is not taking any strict steps in this matter.

NSUI people protested and demanded the resignation of Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh to take strictest action against the accused. People of NSUI, which is called the student wing of Congress, gathered in large numbers at the DAVV campus on Khandwa Road today. Where there was a lot of sloganeering. Along with this, the people of NSUI also tried to burn a poster with the photo of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, but they failed in the presence of the police. Slogans were raised against the Modi government and BJP in the demonstration. At the same time, there was a slight clash with the police during the protest.
