Congress’s ‘torch procession’: protests against unemployment, inflation, phased movement started in Energy Minister’s Assembly

Karn Mishra, Gwalior. In the election year, the Congress is reaching out to every class through sit-in demonstrations. The Congress has started a phased agitation in the Assembly of Energy Minister Praduman Singh Tomar in Gwalior. On Thursday, a sit-in demonstration against unemployment and inflation was given at Yadav Dharma Kante. After this, Congress leaders took out a torchlight procession in the presence of a large number of young women.

The procession passed through the main market from Yadav Dharma Kante and reached the Naka of Char City. The Congress party has planned to take out torchlight processions from more than 15 major intersections and markets in the entire assembly. Today, the torchlight procession has been rested at the Naka of four cities. It will start from there and reach Hazira intersection in the upcoming demonstration. Similarly, Masal Juloos Yatra will reach at different intersections and discuss the issues of unemployment and inflation among the people.
