Dark Days of Emergency: CM Shivraj said on the anniversary of Emergency – Constitution and democracy were implemented by strangulation

Amritanshi Joshi, Bhopal. Emergency was imposed in the country on 25 June 1975. On the anniversary of the Emergency, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that on this day in 1975, the Emergency was imposed by strangling the Indian Constitution and democracy. He has described the days of emergency as dark days of emergency.

CM Shivraj tweeted from his official account and wrote – On this day in 1975, the Emergency was imposed by strangling the Indian Constitution and democracy. From the common citizen to the right of expression of the press was crushed, locks were put on every vocal voice; Cruelest attempt was made to silence those who stood firm against this injustice by burying them in the darkness of the dungeon.
