In the Dominica Test, the Indian team declared its first innings by scoring 421 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in the second session on the third day after West Indies’ first innings was bundled out for 150 runs. In this, apart from Yashasvi Jaiswal’s 171 runs, captain Rohit Sharma’s 103 and Virat Kohli’s 76 runs played an important role.

After taking a huge lead of 271 runs in the first innings, the Indian team bundled out the West Indies for just 130 runs in the second innings. In this innings too, Ravichandran Ashwin took 7 wickets in his name and took a total of 12 wickets in the match. Now the second and last match of the series between India and West Indies will be played in Port of Spain from 20 July.
