Former Indian Skipper Sourav Ganguly Wants Yashasvi Jaiswal In Upcoming ODI World Cup Squad

ODI World Cup 2023: The ICC ODI World Cup will start in India from October 5, for which all the teams do not have much time left for preparation. The Indian team is also engaged in removing all its problems so that it can enter the mega event with full force. Meanwhile, former India captain Sourav Ganguly, while giving important advice to the selectors, has given a message to include Yashasvi Jaiswal in the World Cup team.

Yashasvi Jaiswal has started his international career brilliantly. He played an excellent inning of 171 runs in his first Test match against the West Indies. Since then, many former veterans have been seen continuously praising his talent. Now Sourav Ganguly’s name has also been included in it.

Sourav Ganguly said in an interview to The Telegraph about Yashasvi Jaiswal that scoring a century in the debut test is a big thing for any player. I have done this too, so I know how special it is. Yashasvi has looked much better in terms of technique. Due to the presence of a better left-handed batsman in the top order with the team, pressure is also put on the opposition team. From my point of view, he must be kept in the World Cup team.

Yashasvi included in Asian Games

Yashasvi Jaiswal’s selection in the ODI World Cup 2023 team is now looking almost impossible, the biggest reason for which is that he has already been included in the Asian Games 2023 team. In these games played in China, the cricket event will be held till 8th October, whereas in India, the World Cup will start from 5th October itself. Apart from this, Yashasvi has not been selected in the team for the ODI series against the West Indies, so the selectors are not thinking of playing him in the ODI format.
