In the Ghatabillod shootout, former District President of Dhar District Congress and former MLA Balmukundsingh Gautam and two others have been sentenced to 7-7 years by the Indore District Court under Section 307 of the IPC and Chandan Singh and others have been acquitted under Section 302 of the IPC. Along with Balmukund Gautam, his brother Manoj Gautam, Rakesh Gautam, all three brothers and nephew Pankaj have been sentenced.

Dhar District Congress President Balmukund Singh Gautam, along with his two brothers, relatives, guards, has been sentenced to seven years imprisonment by the Indore District Court for attempt to murder. This sentence has been given in the year 2017 in the murder case of Bablu in Ghatabillaud. Among those punished are Gautam’s brothers Manoj Gautam, Rakesh Gautam as well as relatives Pammu Gautam, relatives Pankaj, R. Patel and guard Kushwaha have also been punished. But due to lack of evidence, the murder accused Chandan Singh and others were acquitted.

In fact, in the year 2017, unknown people pelted stones at the vehicle of District Congress President Balmukund Singh Gautam. After this, one person was killed and two people were injured in the firing between the supporters and the attackers. Gautam’s supporter Bablu’s father Lakshminarayan, aged 34, resident of Annapurna Colony, Naogaon, had died due to bullet injuries.
In which the first report was filed by Congress District President Balmukund Singh Gautam, in which he told that he was returning from a program from Betma area, when Chandan Singh came and had a dispute with him at Ghatabillod near the petrol pump and also fired 5 to 6 shots from the gun. In which Bablu Chowdhary and Pintu Jaiswal were hit by two bullets. Both are Congress leaders supporting Balmukund Singh Gautam. Bablu Chowdhary was shot dead, the same Pintu Jaiswal who was a Congress leader from Pithampur area was also shot. He recovered after treatment. At the same time, after this incident, Balmukund Singh Gautam had registered a case against Indore district panchayat member Chandan Singh, Utavad leader Samandar Singh Patel, Ghanshyam, Mahendra, Rahul, Raghunath, Arjun and others. After which the charges of murder increased on these people.
After this dispute, a report was lodged by Chandan Singh Suner at Pithampur police station, in which District Congress President Balmukund Singh Gautam, Rakesh Gautam, Manoj Gautam, Pankaj Gautam, Pammu alias Virendra Gautam and Rajesh’s father Ajab Singh Patel were accused of attempt to murder. Got registered. It was told that Balamukund Singh Gautam brought along his supporters, had a dispute and fired, in which 1 bullet hit a passerby including Chandan Singh’s nephew, both the injured were immediately rushed to the hospital at that time in critical condition.
Today, almost 6 years after the incident, the MLA court of Indore has sentenced him to 7 years. In the same case in which the passerby was shot, the court has sentenced all of them to 7 years. In this way double punishment of 7 years has been given by the court.
All the people have been acquitted in the case registered against Chandan Singh and other people on behalf of the other side regarding the incident. Balmukund Singh Gautam and District Panchayat member Chandan Singh were having a dispute for a long time regarding the supremacy of the union in the factories of Pithampur area. There used to be a show of strength between the two for supremacy and occupation of the union of the factories. This dispute was mutual. It is only a matter of enmity.
Let us tell you that Balamukund Singh Gautam is not currently holding any post but he has contested assembly elections twice in the past and has been an MLA once and he has been the District President of Dhar District Congress for a long time. At present, he is seen staking claim for the assembly elections to be held from Badnavar and Dhar.
