Raipur. On the 6th anniversary of GST implementation, GST Day celebrations were organized at Central GST Commissionerate Raipur today. Representatives of industry and business organizations, representatives of tax advisory organizations, highest revenue taxpayers and other eminent people participated in the programme. Apart from this, retired officers and employees of the department also participated.
At the beginning of the program, Ajay Agarwal, Deputy Commissioner gave a welcome speech in honor of the guests. After this, AK Panda, Executive Director (Finance) of Bhilai Steel Plant told about the positive improvement in the country’s economy after the implementation of GST. The program was addressed by Amar Parwani, President, Chhattisgarh Chamber of Commerce and Industries, Sandeep Goyal, Managing Director, M/s Bajrang Power and Ispat Limited, Vikas Golchha CA etc.

Media representatives were also invited in the program. Honored by Abu Sama, Commissioner. Apart from this, the officers and employees of the department were honored by giving citations for their excellent work. He asked to meet 24 x 7 for any kind of suggestion and complaint related to GST. In the end, Additional Commissioner Pratima Singh proposed vote of thanks.
