Nyamuddin Ali, Anuppur. An elderly woman fell into the bathroom after her foot slipped while taking a bath at village Latar under Bhalumada police station in Anuppur district of Madhya Pradesh. She was seriously injured due to the fall. The relatives hurriedly admitted the injured to Bhalumada Central Hospital for treatment, where doctors declared Munnibai Kol’s husband Gahanu dead.
The doctor told that prima facie the death of the elderly seemed suspicious, on which the family members were asked to conduct the post-mortem. But relatives said that when the elderly was brought for treatment, she was alive. Due to which there was a tussle between the family members and the doctors. The relatives said that they will not do the post-mortem. The doctors informed the police about this. The Bhalumada police station reached the spot and advised the family members. Then the relatives agreed to get the postmortem done. At present, the police is engaged in further investigation.

In connection with the matter, it was told that the marriage of the grandson of the deceased Munni Bai was taking place, whose procession was to go on Friday. Meanwhile, the elderly woman went to take a bath and while taking a bath, she was seriously injured by slipping her foot in the bathroom. The elderly woman died while being taken to the hospital for treatment.
