Happy Birthday Naseeruddin Shah: Naseeruddin Shah, who is celebrating his 73rd birthday today i.e. on July 20, has made big papads to achieve this milestone. He started his career at the age of 16 with the film Nishant. After which, in the next few decades, he made many classic films like Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron, Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa, Masoom. Ordinary looking Naseeruddin Shah has achieved this position on the basis of his work. Talking about his first salary, the actor told how difficult his struggle was in the initial days.

Rs 7.50 was received for the first film
Naseeruddin Shah had told Radiff in an interview in 2012, ‘When I was 16 years old, I got a chance to do a scene in Aman produced by Mohan Kumar. In this I had to be a part of a funeral in the last scene. Where I was standing right behind Rajendra Kumar. During this I had to look very serious. I got 7.50 for this scene. Which I ran for 2 weeks.

Naseeruddin Shah was expelled from school for failing
Recalling his school days, Naseeruddin Shah said, “There were many plays in my school. I was sure that I could act in them better than the kids who did it. During this time when I failed in one class, my father put me in another school. Here I used to do scenes of ‘The Merchant of Venice’ in front of the crowd with four friends. Then at the age of 14, I knew without any doubt that this is what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. Grades got better. I even joined the cricket team. It turned my life around and my poor misguided father thought I was studying when I wasn’t.”
