The Bengal Cricket Association has ended this wait of the fans. The second final match of the World Cup will be played on 16 November at the Eden Gardens Stadium in Bengal. The Bengal Cricket Association said in a statement released on Monday that the ticket price for the semi-finals would start from Rs 900.
The Bengal Cricket Association’s statement said that tickets for the World Cup semi-final and the India-Africa match to be held at Eden Gardens will cost between Rs 900 and Rs 3,000. 900 ticket will be for upper tier, while B, L block ticket will cost Rs 3000. The other two denominations will be Rs 1500 (D, H Block) and Rs 2500 (C, K Block) for two matches.
Eden Gardens has a seating capacity of 63,500 spectators. A total of 5 matches of the World Cup will be played here. Here the tickets for the match played between Bangladesh and Netherlands will be the cheapest. To watch this match, fans will have to pay Rs 650 (upper tier) to Rs 1500 (B, C, K, L block). The match will have a ticket of Rs 1,000 for D and H block.
Pakistan has to play two matches against England and Bangladesh on this ground. Tickets for both these matches will be Rs.800 (Upper Tier), Rs.1200 (D, H Block), Rs.2000 (C, K Block) and Rs.2200 (B, L Block).
A total of 48 matches will be played in the tournament
Let us tell you that the World Cup will start from October 5 and the final match will be played on November 19. A total of 48 matches will go to 10 venues in the tournament. The first match will be played between last time finalist England and New Zealand.
