Rohit Sharma IND vs WI 2nd Test: The second match of the Test series between India and West Indies is being played in Trinidad. Team India, captained by Rohit Sharma, registered a resounding victory in the first match. Indian player Dinesh Karthik has praised Rohit’s captaincy. He has said that Rohit handles his fast bowlers well. Karthik has also praised fast bowler Mohammad Siraj. Team India has scored 438 runs in the first innings of Trinidad Test.
Karthik also reacted to the India-West Indies match. According to the news of India Today, Karthik said, “I think Rohit handled his fast bowlers well. He gave a chance to the bowlers and then called back after giving a break. During this the spinners were also given overs. He used all the bowlers. Siraj bowled well.
Karthik believes that India can win the Trinidad Test. He said, “This match is going only in two directions. Either Team India will win, which is more likely. Or else it will be a draw. Seeing the West Indies, it is feeling the same. India will have to get the next five wickets quickly to win.
Significantly, West Indies scored 229 runs in the first innings with the loss of 5 wickets till the end of the third day’s play. He is still 209 runs behind Team India. India scored 438 runs till all out in the first innings. By the end of the third day’s play for India, Ravindra Jadeja took 2 wickets for 37 runs in 25 overs. Mukesh Kumar took one wicket for 35 runs in 14 overs. Ashwin took one wicket for 61 runs in 33 overs. Siraj took one wicket for 48 runs in 20 overs.
