Apart from this, Ashwin also managed to complete his 700 international wickets in this Test. He completed his 709 international wickets by the end of the Test match. With this, he became the second bowler to take the most international wickets for India, surpassing Harbhajan Singh. Harbhajan Singh took 707 wickets in his international career. On the other hand, Anil Kumble is at number one with 953 wickets in terms of taking the most wickets for India.
