IND Vs WI Team India Announced For West Indies Tour On June 27 Virat Kohli Rohit Sharma And Shami Siraj Will Get Rest

India Squad for West Indies Tour: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will announce Team India for the West Indies tour on 27 June. Team India will play a series of two Tests, three ODIs and five T20 matches on the West Indies tour. Many senior players can be rested for this tour.

According to the reports, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma will be given rest in ODI and T20 series. In such a situation, both these players will play only two-match Test series. On the other hand, Mohammad Shami and Mohammad Siraj will not be part of the team in any series considering the workload. Both the fast bowlers can be rested for the entire West Indies tour.

Many small players like Sanju Samson, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Umran Malik and Arshdeep Singh are expected to be a part of the ODI, Test and T20 series. Samson and Umran are likely to feature in the white-ball squad, while Jaiswal and Arshdeep are expected to be part of the Test squad.

Hardik Pandya may return to Test team

Inside Sports quoted a senior BCCI official as saying in a report, “Hardik Pandya is certainly an option, but it is Hardik who has to take the call on Test returns. The selectors want to see him in the white jersey. But Is he in a position to play in all three formats, especially considering that he is an important player in ODIs. That’s for him to decide.”
