The first semi-final match of the 2023 Emerging Asia Cup was played between Pakistan-A and Sri Lanka-A. Pakistan-A team easily won this match. Pakistan-A had scored 322 runs in 50 overs after playing first. In response, the Sri Lanka-A team could score only 262 runs in 45.4 overs. For Pakistan-A, Umair Yusuf scored 88 and captain Mohammad Haris scored 52 runs. At the same time, Avishka Fernando scored the highest 97 runs for Sri Lanka-A.
India A beat Bangladesh A in the second semi-final
The second semi-final match of the 2023 Emerging Asia Cup was low scoring. India-A team was reduced to just 211 runs in 49.1 overs after playing first. After this, the Bangladesh-A team scored 70 runs without losing any wicket, but the Indian bowlers made a strong comeback and finally won the match by 51 runs. Nishant Sandhu took the maximum 5 wickets for India-A.
