Raipur. Regarding the election of the directors of the Chhattisgarh Fisheries Federation, the High Court has issued instructions to the Registrar Cooperatives and the Election Commission to start the proceedings for the election immediately after completing all the proceedings within 48 hours.
Justice PS Koshi had presented the case by the President of Chhattisgarh Fisheries Federation Raipur Ramkrishna Dhivar and other operators in the High Court Bilaspur regarding non-conduct of the elections of the federation’s operators by the government and the Chhattisgarh Cooperative Election Commission. The term of the Board of Directors is going to end on July 17, 2023.
Advocate Satish Gupta said, under the Cooperative Act, there is a rule to hold elections 6 months before. The High Court has issued instructions to the Registrar Cooperative and Election Commission to start the proceedings for the elections immediately after completing all the proceedings within 48 hours.
