Jashpur. One accused has been arrested in the case of theft in Thana Tapkara, Farsabahar and Kunkuri area. Staying in Odisha, the accused who committed the theft incident has been arrested by the police from Jharsuguda. In the inquiry, 4 thefts have been revealed.
To investigate these cases and search for the accused, a team was formed under the guidance of Inspector General of Police Surguja Range Ram Gopal Garg and Deputy Inspector General of Police, Senior Superintendent of Police Jashpur D. Ravishankar and Additional Superintendent of Police Umesh Kashyap, under the leadership of Sub-Divisional Officer of Police Sandeep Mittal. In which the investigation was being done by questioning the suspects continuously. Odisha Police was also continuously contacted. Odisha Police was trying to trace the accused due to frequent thefts in Lulkidih village of Odisha bordering Chhattisgarh state. Meanwhile, the Tapkara police received information that Raza Khan, a resident of Keradih village under Kunkuri police station area, who has been jailed in many cases of theft in the past, currently resides in Bargaon. It comes towards Chhattisgarh in between. On this information, the police established contact with the Odisha Police and with their help took the accused into custody from Jharsuguda.
During interrogation, he accepted the theft by breaking the lock of the house of Thana Tapkara. The accused admitted to stealing cash by breaking the lock of a shop in Farsabahar police station. Apart from this, in the Kunkuri police station area, he accepted the theft by breaking the wardrobe of a house. Along with this, he accepted the theft in a field in Kunkuri.
Search continues for absconding accused
The police have seized the iron rod used to break the lock from the possession of the accused. Two other absconding accused in the case are being traced. In which a team has left for Jharkhand. Accused Sibten Raza Khan has been involved in many cases of loot and theft in the past and has gone to jail. Station in-charge Tapkara Harshvardhan Chaurase, Jaynandan Marble, Mohan Banjare, Rajesh Kujur, R Santu Ram Yadav, Constable Nandlal Yadav, Amit Tripathi, Rajkumar Yadav played an important role in this action.

Investigation was being done under crime number 73/23 registered in Thana Tapkara, crime number 34/23 registered in Thana Farsabhar, crime number 54/23 and 59/23 registered in Kunkuri police station. Which has been disclosed by the police.
