Jay Shah & Zaka Ashraf Meeting: The matter between BCCI and PCB is not taking the name of settlement. Although, the ICC is constantly trying to resolve the dispute between the cricket boards of the two countries, but till now all the efforts have failed. Now next week BCCI and PCB officials will meet in Durban. During this, BCCI Secretary Jai Shah and new PCB Chairman Zaka Ashraf will keep their point. Actually, both Jai Shah and Zaka Ashraf are members of the Asian Cricket Council. It is believed that Jai Shah and Zaka Ashraf will talk about issues related to Asia Cup and World Cup.
Now what is the new excuse of Pakistan?
Recently there was news that the Pakistani government is ready to send its team to India for the World Cup, but now a new problem seems to be stuck. Actually, it is being said that the Pakistan government is not happy with Team India not coming to Pakistan for the Asia Cup. Pakistan is the host country of the Asia Cup 2023, but after India’s objection, Srilanka got co-hosting. The Indian team will play its Asia Cup 2023 match in Sri Lanka. Apart from this, Sri Lanka will host the final match of the tournament.
Will these issues be discussed between Jai Shah and Zaka Ashraf?
However, it is believed that there will be talks between Jai Shah and Zaka Ashraf on going to India to play Pakistan’s World Cup. Also, it is being said that if Pakistan does not host the entire Asia Cup, then the Pakistan team will not go to India to play the World Cup. Pakistan believes that all the Asia Cup matches will be played in Pakistan. Whereas in the past, the Pakistan Cricket Board had suggested the hybrid model. After which it was agreed upon to host Sri Lanka. At the same time, now in a conversation with Indian Express, Pakistan’s Sports Minister Ahsan Mazari said that if the Indian team does not come to Pakistan to play the Asia Cup, then the Pakistani team will not go to India to play the World Cup 2023.
