Khandwa News: People’s anger erupted after incidents of theft, siege of SDOP office, demand to arrest the accused soon

Imran Khan, Khandwa. The anger of the people was seen today in Punasa of Khandwa district of Madhya Pradesh due to the frequent incidents of theft. A large number of traders of the city reached the Punasa SDOP office and surrounded the memorandum demanding that the incidents of theft in the area are continuously increasing, the thieves should be curbed and arrested. The people here are in panic because of the frequent incidents of theft. Because the thieves are absconding after stealing, the police are failing to catch them. The same has been assured by the police to take quick action.

In fact, today the citizens of Punasa gathered and reached the SDOP office and demanded the arrest of the miscreants who were involved in the thefts. A memorandum has been given to SDOP Rakesh Pandro. People expressed displeasure over the lethargic attitude of the police post Punasa. It was told that for the last three years, there have been many incidents of theft in Punasa, in which gold and silver jewelery and a large amount of cash have been stolen. But the incident of theft is not being exposed.

It was mentioned in the memorandum that a theft incident took place at Punasa’s textile businessman Avinash Dode on the night of June 28, in which cash of Rs 20,000 and gold ornaments worth lakhs were stolen. At the same time, the police have failed to arrest the accused of the incident. Due to this the residents of Punasa are angry.

Here Punasa SDOP said that a memorandum has been received from the traders of the city in which they have said that the increasing theft in the city has other demands including unsolved crimes. Everyone has been assured that soon other incidents including theft will be curbed and the accused will be arrested soon.
