In the year 1995, a film came out, ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’, cinematographers flocked to watch this film in the cinema hall. Today even after 28 years, the craze of this film is so high that it was re-released on the big screen and the audience once again reached the cinema hall to watch it with the same enthusiasm.

Not only DDLJ, but in the last 100 years, Bollywood has given such superhit films to the world that even today people do not get tired of praising the story of the film and the acting of the actor. 

There is also a reason that today the present condition of Bollywood films has become a matter of national debate. In fact, in the last few years, many allegations are being made on Bollywood like continuously giving flop films, bad acting, story stealing and making remakes of superhit films. The image of Bollywood has become so bad that now even the biggest superstar is not able to run his film.

Be it Salman Khan’s ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’ or Aamir Khan’s ‘Lal Singh Chadha’. In the years 2022 and 2023, many such films were released in which Bollywood superstars are there but they could not run these films on their own. Recently Akshay Kumar’s film ‘Rakshabandhan’ Was also a flop. Shahrukh’s film ‘Pathan’ also failed to do as much as it was hyped at the box office. 

Once upon a time films were run in the name of heroes 

They say that with time, the attitude of the audience to watch the film also changes. There was a time in this country when many Bollywood films used to run only in the name of heroes. Be it Devanand or Amitabh Bachchan. There used to be a line of spectators outside the cinema hall just to see him acting in his films. In our country, there has been a custom of worshiping film personalities and even building temples for them. But gradually time changed and audience started demanding good script instead of superstar or hero. 

This has also been the biggest reason that now the audience is shifting from cinema hall to OTT for entertainment and instead of superstar or hero, towards actor who does good script and good acting.

Today, even though Divyendu has appeared in many OTT series and has become the favorite actor of millions of viewers, but he too had to struggle a lot to reach this point. Divyendu had told in an interview that due to not having a film background, he had to struggle hard to get good roles. Before films, he had worked in many commercials.
