Raipur. A hearing was held in the court on the petition filed regarding the dismissal of Professor Dr. Shahid Ali of Kushabhau Thakre Journalism University. The court has ruled not to give interim relief to Shahid Ali.
Let us tell you that the Executive Council of Journalism University, while accepting the report of the committee formed in the matter of appointment of teachers, had decided to sack Associate Professor Dr. Shahid Ali and to register a criminal case against him. Along with this, it has also been decided to take legal action against the contractual appointment of Sanjay Dwivedi.
While taking action regarding the dismissal of Dr. Ali by the university, he has been given 15 days time by giving notice to present his case. An order has also been given to take immediate action against Dr. Ashutosh Mandavi.
Avesh Tiwari, a member of the University Working Council, told that the three-member inquiry committee, including Dr. Rammohan Pathak, has confirmed the existence of fake documents. In the emergency meeting of the Working Council, it has been decided to dismiss Dr. Shahid Ali with immediate effect and register a criminal case. The notice has been issued after the decision of the Executive Council. Answer has been sought from Dr. Shahid Ali within 15 days in the fake document case. Along with this, an order has been given to take immediate action against Dr. Ashutosh Mandavi.
