Mosim Tadvi, Burhanpur. A case of rape of a 4-year-old girl had come to light under Khaknar police station area of Burhapur district of Madhya Pradesh. In this case, the accused Govind has been punished by the court with life imprisonment and a fine of Rs 6,000.
In the case, Additional District Prosecuting Officer Ramlal Randhawe said that in the prosecuted case, Special Judge POCSO Act, accused Govind father Navalasingh village Gondari Khaknar, who raped a 4-year-old girl, has been sentenced to life imprisonment under Section 5(M)/6, which means that the accused sentenced to imprisonment for the remainder of his natural life.

He told that the girl’s mother had reported at Khaknar police station on April 26, 2022 that around 7.00 pm the girl was playing in front of the house, which the accused had taken while feeding her. They thought that the accused had taken him to his house to feed them. Due to more time, the relatives went to her house, but they were told that they did not know about the girl child. While searching for the child, a villager told that his child was lying in the garden of Kalu’s plant.

On reaching the spot, the relatives saw that blood was coming out from his private part. After which immediately the relatives reached the police station and filed a complaint. On the basis of the complaint, the police filed a case against the accused under section 376, 376 (A), (B), 363 and section 3/4, 5(M)/6, after taking the matter into consideration, presented the certification of the accused in the court today. Special Judge POCSO Act has sentenced Govind, accused of raping the girl, to life imprisonment.
