Lightning wreaks havoc in MP: 2 killed, one injured

Renu Agarwal, Dhar. Two people died due to lightning on Thursday in Dhar district of Madhya Pradesh. A woman died due to lightning in Sardarpur area. Here, a 40-year-old man also died due to lightning under Rajgarh police station area.

According to the information, the couple, residents of Bhopar, were going towards their house from village Bangnada by bike, when the couple stood under a roadside tree due to heavy rains in village Bamankhedi. Sagarbai (age 55) resident Bhopawar died on the spot due to lightning accompanied by heavy rain, while husband Antar Singh was injured. With the help of the local people, the husband was taken to Community Health Center Sardarpur for treatment in an injured condition. After getting the information, the police reached the spot and sent the dead body to the hospital for postmortem. The police is probing the matter by establishing a case.

Here, Gopal’s father Nanda ji Rathore (age 40), resident of Nai Mohalla, Chhadavad village, who was working on a farm near Tirla outpost of Thana Rajgarh, died due to lightning. Which is being brought to the Community Health Center Sardarpur by the family members and villagers.
