Madhya Pradesh Weather Update: Rain in many cities due to Biparjoy, alert in these districts today

Amritanshi Joshi, Bhopal. Due to Biparjoy storm in Madhya Pradesh, rain has created havoc in many cities. Monsoon is likely to hit the state in the next 2 to 3 days. Wind can also blow at a speed of 40 to 60 kilometers per hour at many places. Even today, heavy rain alert has been issued in many districts.

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of heavy rains in the districts of Sagar division along with Guna, Ashoknagar, Datia, Bhind, Vidisha, Raisen, Harda. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain in the districts of Bhopal, Chambal, Gwalior and Sagar divisions along with Indore, Ujjain, Jabalpur, Narmadapuram, Shahdol, Rewa. Monsoon can knock in the state from June 25. Wind speed may reach 40 to 50 kmph at many places in the state.
