Expressing anger over the horrifying incident of two tribal women being paraded naked in violence-hit Manipur, Priyanka Chopra called it a collective shame and appealed to the entire country to raise their voice against it. The actress wrote in a post on her Instagram story, “Here is a video going viral… 77 days after the heinous crime… logic before action is taken? Cause? No matter – what and why, situational or circumstantial, we cannot allow women to be pawns of the game in any case.”
Priyanka further wrote in her post, ‘This is a matter of collective shame and there should be ‘justice for the women of Manipur’. Said, “The collective shame and anger now needs to be raised in a unified voice for only one thing – immediate justice.”
