Monsoon knocks in MP: Heavy rain likely in next five days, orange and yellow alert in these districts today

Amritanshi Joshi, Bhopal. Monsoon has knocked in Madhya Pradesh (Madhya Pradesh Weather Update). Monsoon has reached MP via Shahdol, Mandla via Maharashtra. There is a possibility of heavy rains in the state for the next five days. Even today, orange and yellow alert for rain has been issued in many districts.

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of heavy rains in Alirajpur, Jhabua, Sagar today. On the other hand, yellow alert has been issued for heavy rains in Balaghat, Seoni, Narsinghpur, Anuppur, Khargone, Indore, Raisen, Sehore, Narmadapuram, Burhanpur, Barwani, Dhar, Ratlam, Ujjain and Dewas.

MP Weather Update: Rain alert in 16 districts of the state, monsoon will knock in next 48 hours

The weather in MP remains different in different areas. It is raining continuously for the last four-five days. Rainfall activity will increase in the state. There is a possibility of thunder and lightning in most of the districts. There is a possibility of good rains in eastern and western Madhya Pradesh.

Meteorologist SN Sahu told that the monsoon is moving fast. Will knock in Bhopal division and Narmadapuram in one to two days. Monsoon will cover the entire state in the coming one week. Rainfall activity will start across the state within a week.
