MP CRIME: Large consignment of intoxicating cough syrup recovered, police arrested 5 suppliers including drug dealer

Neeraj Kakotia, Balaghat: Malajkhand and Birsa police of Balaghat district of Madhya Pradesh have recovered a huge consignment of narcotics and banned medicines while taking major action. Police has arrested 5 accused in this case. From whom 1477 cc have been recovered. The accused have been taken on remand by the police. Due to which more revelations are likely to happen.

Disclosing this, Superintendent of Police Sameer Saurabh said that a large consignment of cuff syrup containing illegal drugs has been seized. Whose main accused is Bharat Deshmukh. Which has its own Girmaji Deshmukh medical stores operating in Malajkhand. CCs of 1477 cuff sirf Korox have been recovered from whose house and other places. By whom it was being consumed in tribal rural areas. Its illegal business was also being done by him in Raipur of Chhattisgarh. Along with Bharat Deshmukh, his son Himalaya Deshmukh, accountant and Ramchandra Chuttani, the director of Durga Medical from where he used to buy it, have also been arrested.

The SP said that on the indication of Bharat Deshmukh, searches have been done in the presence of drug inspector in three medical shops Durga Medical, Varun Medical and Anand Medical, which supply him at Balaghat headquarters. The police searched these three medicals of Balaghat Nagar for a long time and arrested the operator of Durga Medical. The operators of the remaining medical have not come forward. The accused have been taken on remand. In which there are chances of more revelations and arrest of other accused. This is the biggest seizure of illegal Korex in Balaghat so far.
