MP Crime News: Gang arrested for kidnapping doctor in film style and extorting ransom, these things were found from the accused

Bhupendra Bhadoria, Gwalior. Police have arrested three members of the kidnapper gang who kidnapped the doctor in film style in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. Police have recovered one lakh cash from the ransom money taken by the kidnappers, two iPhones bought with the ransom money, a katta used in the crime. During interrogation of the police, the miscreants told that they had kidnapped the doctor because he was looking for a lot of money there and could get a huge amount from him. One of the gang members is still absconding. At the same time, the police has started questioning the accused.

In fact, Dr. Pramod Paharia, a resident of Mohan Nagar of Thatipur police station area, was going home from his clinic on 20/07/2023 to have dinner. When Suresh was turning towards Nagar, the bike collided with his car. Three youths were riding on the bike. Before the doctor could understand anything, one put the knife and kidnapped the doctor in his own car and took him hostage. The miscreant with the pistol came on the driving seat and the two miscreants sat around the doctor. And started the car and kept roaming on the road. The miscreants demanded Rs 40 lakh while threatening to kill the doctor. But the doctor did not have such a huge amount. The miscreants later agreed to release him after taking Rs 4 lakh. Only then the miscreants got the doctor to call his father and told that someone will come home now, give him the money. After about three hours, a young man on a bike reached the doctor’s father and came out with cash. After this, the miscreants fled leaving the doctor in the car. After which the doctor directly reached the police station and complained to the police by telling the whole incident.

The police took it seriously regarding the case of kidnapping and extortion by unknown miscreants by pretending to be an accident and for that the team of Thatipur and Crime Branch was deployed to nab the miscreants. The Dhoran police officers came to know that they had clicked a photo of the person who had come to collect the money from the victim’s doctor’s father. Due to which the police got a lot of help in catching the miscreants. When the police gathered to identify the miscreant with the photo, it came to know that the accused is a resident of Murar Srinagar Colony. When the police team reached to nab the accused, along with him two other companions were also arrested by the police. In police interrogation, all three told their names as Madhusudan Gurjar, Titu Gurjar, Vikas Gurjar resident of Maharajpura and Murar area.

The accused told the police that 15 to 20 days ago, one of the accused had gone to the doctor’s clinic with his elder brother and talked about getting him a job, only then he saw that the money comes from the doctor and the doctor earns a lot. That’s why he made a plan to kidnap the doctor with 3 friends and carried out the kidnapping incident. After recovering the ransom amount of Rs 4 lakh, the four had distributed Rs 1 lakh 5 thousand in each person’s share. In which two miscreants had bought two iPhones with the ransom amount. After which he went to visit Khatu Shyam Mandir and Delhi.

Police have recovered Rs 1 lakh out of Rs 4 lakh ransom, two iPhones bought with the ransom amount, a katta used in the crime after the kidnapping and a motorcycle after the accused confessed to the crime. Aditya Gautam, the fourth accused of the same gang, is out of the custody of the police. At present, after registering a case against the accused, the police have started searching for the absconding accused while inquiring about other incidents in the city.
