MP Election 2023: BJP Still Holds 21 MP’s Tickets, Is Congress’ Equation Possible? Exploring the Dynamics”

MP Election 2023: In the upcoming assembly elections, the BJP is making calculated moves by fielding its heavyweight leaders in the battleground. The party has left no room for risks, and its strategy is clear: no CM faces and the central leadership actively monitoring the state campaigns.

Out of the 29 Lok Sabha seats in the state, the BJP has fielded three central ministers and four MPs. This decision has already put seven MPs in the electoral arena, leaving 21 more to be declared.

While the BJP’s preparations seem to be in full swing, it remains to be seen if the list that will be released in the coming days holds any more surprises, possibly even involving more MPs.

For the Congress, replicating this approach is next to impossible. Among the 29 Lok Sabha seats in the state, only one is held by a Congress MP, Nakul Nath, the son of Kamal Nath. Nakul Nath himself is contesting this time, making it highly unlikely that he will get another ticket. Additionally, Congress has two Rajya Sabha MPs from Madhya Pradesh, Digvijaya Singh, and Vivek Tankha, but the chances of them contesting in the assembly elections seem minimal.

As of now, the Congress has not released any candidate list, while the BJP has already announced the names of 79 candidates. Kamal Nath has hinted that those who are to receive tickets have been given a nod.
