MP Election 2023 Dates: The announcement of the proposed legislative assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh, scheduled for November, could be made within the next two to three days. The Chief Electoral Officer’s office has completed all preparations for this. Meanwhile, the government has also approved all important proposals during a late-night cabinet meeting on Wednesday. Considering the possibilities of announcing the elections, the official government programs of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan have also been scheduled until Friday.
Last time, the announcement was made on October 6th, 2018. This time, it seems that the announcement could be made within the next two to three days. The entire team of the Election Commission has toured Madhya Pradesh and gathered feedback for this purpose. The final publication of the voter list was also completed on Wednesday.
The election announcement can happen at any time now, according to officials from the Chief Minister’s office. In anticipation of this, the Chief Minister’s programs have been planned accordingly. On Friday, the Chief Minister will virtually inaugurate and lay the foundation stones of various development projects in the state. As of now, no official government program has been planned for Saturday.
Chief Election Officer Anupam Rajan has stated that all preparations for the elections have been completed. This includes the formation of polling teams, the appointment of sector officers, the identification of sensitive centers, training of employees, and other activities as per the proposed action plan.
With the announcement, the Model Code of Conduct will come into effect, and strict enforcement will be carried out. District election officials and collectors have started preparations to remove political and voter-affecting hoardings and posters on street corners in a vigilant manner.
