MP government kept its promise: Now contractors will not be able to charge market fees, CM Shivraj had announced to stop the contract practice

Amritanshi Joshi, Bhopal. The Shivraj government of Madhya Pradesh has fulfilled its promise. In fact, now the contractors will not recover market fees and market fees. The Urban Administration Department has issued orders in this regard. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan (CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan) announced this in the mahapanchayat of handcarts, hawkers and street vendors.

Urban Development and Housing Minister Bhupendra Singh has directed all Municipal Commissioners and Chief Municipal Officers not to collect market fee through contractors. Also, it should not be recovered daily.

The minister said that the action to cancel the contracts for the remaining period will be taken in the council meeting after assessing the income to be received by the urban bodies in which contracts for daily collection of tehbazari have been taken. In the meeting, instead of daily collection, half yearly and annual rates will be decided.
